Synopsis:

It is a reportedly based on Mahesh Bhatt''s life. Movie is a love story and certainly very different from Mohit''s last film, the dark, edgy, gritty, Ek Villain. HAK is actually a love triangle. Vidya said, "Parineeta too was like a love triangle but not a triangle in that sense. But every love story has a triangle in it. That''s all I will say." Mohit said, "I have never played safe in my journey as a director. If Aashiqui 2 was a love story with a difference, then Ek Villain was something completely different. I just want to make my kind of films. HAK is in the BR Chopra mould of films. It is about, love, value systems, people''s lives from birth to marriage.
