Viswant Duddumpudi is literally running down a dusty alleyway with five guys shooting at him while he drops his phone and somehow manages to pick it up without breaking his stride and honestly it is just pure chaos from the second you sit down with your popcorn.

So the movie is Daksha: The Deadly Conspiracy and it is wild.

You wouldn't expect this level of madness from typical hindi movies but here we are.

Aranganathan shows up looking serious and brooding and he is playing some kind of high ranking official or security guy, it’s honestly a bit hard to tell because everyone is whispering in shady government rooms with blue tint filters on the camera lens.

Mohan Babu is also right there chewing the scenery in the best way possible.

He enters a room and everyone stops breathing because he's that intense.

And then boom, there is a random romantic song out of nowhere right when a massive national security crisis is unfolding, which is a classic bollywood trope that always makes me laugh because why are we dancing in the desert when the bomb is about to drop.

Anyway, the plot is basically about this massive evil plan involving state secrets, stolen documents, double-crossing agents, and a bunch of shadowy syndicates trying to ruin the country, and everybody is chasing everybody else across different cities for like two hours straight.

There are car chases that defy the laws of physics and physics left the chat years ago in these kinds of hindi films.

Viswant's character gets cornered in an abandoned warehouse that has way too many flickering fluorescent lights and zero OSHA compliance, and he has to fight off ten henchmen using only a rusty metal pipe and pure anger.

I couldn't stop staring at this one extra in the background of that warehouse scene who was wearing a bright neon green sweater that made zero sense for a gritty underground fight club vibe, but hey, costume design choices are fascinating sometimes.

Then right before the interval block hits, a major character gets betrayed in a completely shocking way that you kind of saw coming if you've seen more than three action movies in your life, but it's still fun anyway.

The interval hits right as a massive explosion goes off next to a vintage red car.

After the break, the pacing goes completely off the rails and things get even more convoluted.

Aranganathan figures out the mole in the agency because of a reflection in a coffee spoon.

That's right, a coffee spoon.

They speed through a massive exposition dump where three people talk really fast in an SUV about offshore bank accounts and satellite coordinates, and suddenly we are heading straight into the climax.

Mohan Babu does a dramatic monologue about loyalty and betrayal while staring directly into the sunset and holding a smoking gun.

The final confrontation happens on top of a helipad where Viswant and Aranganathan team up to take down the main villain in a brutal hand-to-hand brawl that leaves both of them bruised, bloody, and exhausted.

Aranganathan kicks the main villain off the edge of the building and he falls into a swimming pool far below.
