We gotta rewind a bit to understand why she is so angry up on that rock, because the movie actually starts way back with a younger version of her running through the steep, unforgiving ravines of the ghaati region where life is cheap and the local lords run everything with iron fists and terrifying brutality.
Vikram Prabhu enters the picture looking all rugged and brooding as a local rebel leader with a scar over his left eyebrow that I honestly couldn't stop staring at because whoever did the makeup department's prosthetic work made it look like a giant pink worm just chilling on his cheek for three hours of runtime.
Chaitanya Rao Madadi shows up as the scheming cousin who wants to betray everyone for a sack of silver coins and some land rights, and he's constantly sweating through his silk kurtas like he's sitting in a sauna while plotting murders in broad daylight.
Stuff happens so fast in the first hour that you'll get whiplash, alliances break, people get thrown off cliffs, and then suddenly out of nowhere a completely random item song drops with dozens of backup dancers shaking it in a muddy quarry while Anushka just stares blankly at the camera looking like she'd rather be anywhere else on earth.
And then boom, we hit the interval block right as Vikram gets ambushed in a dark cave by fifty guys with glowing torches and long spears, leaving us hanging for fifteen minutes while we argue about movie snacks in the lobby.
The second half gets even crazier because characters who died in the first half are suddenly mentioned like they just went on vacation, and nobody even bothers to explain the plot holes because we're too busy watching slow-motion fights where people fly twenty feet into the air after getting lightly shoved.
God, the editing is so choppy that entire character arcs get resolved in a single rushed montage where people just glare at each other across a campfire and then shake hands.
